Flint Community Schools Community –
First and foremost, thank you for your continued patience as we work to ensure additional safety measures are in place for our scholars and staff. The protection and well-being of our school community is our primary concern, and we are relentless in our commitment to providing the safest learning environment possible.
To that end, I am writing to inform you that we are working around the clock to resolve the issue related to our sneeze guards, which prevented the return to hybrid learning this week. We do not yet have a scheduled date for returning to in-person learning. However, we will keep the community informed and will announce a new date for the return as soon as possible.
We understand that some of our families rely on the option of in-person learning and we remain dedicated to making the option available. In the meantime, we encourage our scholars to stay engaged with distance learning. Families looking for additional information on the return to school can review our Safe Return and Recovery Plan, which we are using to guide all efforts moving forward. The Safe Return and Recovery Plan can be found on the district website (www.FlintSchools.org). It is the third rotating banner on the home page.
Only together can we continue to create synergy during difficult times. Thank you for remaining Flint Focused.
Your Partner in Education,
Mrs. Anita J. Steward
