Flint students kick off Halloween at local senior citizen facility

FLINT, MI - Super heroes, princesses and ninjas paraded down the halls of the Rosehaven Manor today.

Nearly 50 Neithercut Elementary students kicked off their Halloween celebration with the senior citizens at the facility on Hammerburg Road in Flint as they participated in various activities including arts and crafts.

"Along with celebrating Halloween, Neithercut Elementary wanted to do something for students to interact with their community," said Flint Community Schools officials in a press release. "The creative, arts and craft activity will provide a great snapshot of the community's youngest and oldest individuals coming together."

Students wrapped up the celebration with a parade around the senior citizen complex.
