
Attention all Flint Jaguars, as we prepare for tonightās basketball games here vs New Standard we are implementing a regulation: Anyone under the age of 18 must show student ID from one of the two schools in order to attend tonightās games. Please make sure you have your student ID present to enter the building. NO ONE under 18 will be allowed into the game without showing either Flint Southwestern Student ID or New Standard/Madison Academy ID. Thank you and Goooooo Jagās!

Congratulations to Southwestern Classical Academy senior wrestler Jason Richardson is moving on to the MHSAA Division 2 Regional Round after an impressive 2nd place finish in the 285lb weight class at the District Tournament at Fenton High School! With a 24-6 record this season, Jason now sets his sights on qualifying for the MHSAA D2 Individual State Finals at Ford Field later this month. A former State Qualifier as a sophomore, he must finish in the top 4 at next Saturdayās Regional Round Tournament to continue his journey to the top! Letās cheer him on as he fights for his place among Michiganās best high school heavyweight wrestlers!

February 18 - 21: We're thrilled to invite ALL FCS Scholars to join our "Thrive Up On The Go!" program! This is a fantastic opportunity to explore Michigan through fun-filled field trips, which are completely FREE for all participants. Transportation will be provided.
Who Can Join? Scholars from all 10 FCS schools can participate! Program sites are located at Accelerated Learning Academy, Freeman Elementary, Holmes STEM Middle School Academy, Potter Elementary, and Southwestern Classical Academy; your school's CSD will let you know which site location your child will attend. Good afternoon! For January the Flint Community Schools School Wellness Program (SWP) nurses want to increase awareness of the health condition of asthma. Asthma is a common health condition. Around 25 million Americans are diagnosed with asthma. One in eleven school aged children are affected by asthma. Asthma is a condition that can be well managed by working with a doctor and following the treatment plan that they prescribe.
