Governor Whitmer Signs State Education Budget at Potter Elementary School

Flint, MI — October 15, 2025 — In a historic moment for public education in Michigan, Governor Gretchen Whitmer visited Potter Elementary School Monday morning to sign the newly passed state education budget. Surrounded by Flint Community Schools scholars, Board of Education members, administrative staff, and local and state officials, the event highlighted the state’s ongoing commitment to supporting students and schools across Michigan.
