ALTERCATION AT SOUTHWESTERN CLASSICAL ACADEMY DURING EARLY DISMISSAL
Flint, Michigan – December 11, 2025 – This morning, Southwestern Classical Academy was required to dismiss students early due to maintenance issues. During the dismissal process, a few of our scholars were involved in an altercation, which was brought under control by school and district administrators. All students have since returned home safely for the day.
Flint Community Schools remains committed to maintaining a secure and orderly learning environment. The safety and well-being of our scholars are always our top priority, and we appreciate the cooperation, patience, and understanding of our families and community as we worked to manage today’s circumstances. The district will continue to communicate any relevant updates as necessary.
