Last night, McLaren Family Medicine Residency Center added a little extra holiday cheer for some of our families in memory of Dr. Simran Deol. By continuing his tradition of spreading joy and support to children in need, they honored Dr. Deol’s belief that every child deserves to be cared for. Immunization Requirement Reminder:
Michigan law requires school aged students to be up to date with their childhood immunizations. Every student is required to have up to date immunization records on file. If these records are not provided, that child is not allowed to continue attending class. If you have received letters and calls about your child not being up to date, your child's classes will be closed upon return from winter break. Please see attached documents for more information on how to ensure your child's classes do not get closed. Our goal is for no child to have to miss class time due to this requirement. Please visit your child's primary care doctor or the local health department to receive the required documentation. I hope everyone has a beautiful and restful break!

ICYMI: Doyle-Ryder Community Education Center partnered with New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church – COFY Center to bless 100 families with turkeys this Thanksgiving season. Community School Director David Bush and the Flint Thrive team helped distribute turkeys to Doyle-Ryder families and members of the community.

🎳 Bowling Season Off to a Strong Start! 🎳
The Southwestern Jaguars kicked off the bowling season in style! On Saturday, December 6, they opened with an impressive 28–2 win over Bentley, followed by another big victory on Saturday, December 13, defeating Flint Elite 26–2.
Standout performances:
Elijah Lynch led the way with outstanding games of 235 and 222
Dustin Farnham rolled a strong 226
Chloe Combs delivered solid games of 145 and 176
