Flint Community Schools was honored to join Hamilton Community Health Network this afternoon for the ribbon cutting of their new School-Linked Child Adolescent Health Center (CAHC).

Through this partnership, scholars at Southwestern Classical Academy, Accelerated Learning Academy, and Holmes STEM Middle School Academy—and their families—will have expanded access to medical, mental health, and wellness services, strengthening the connection between learning and overall well-being.

Our outstanding Art teacher at Southwestern Classical Academy has received a $100 award from the Flint Classroom Support Fund to purchase essential art supplies for her classroom. Her creativity, passion, and commitment make a lasting impact on our scholars every day.
In partnership with the Bishop Trust, the Flint Classroom Support Fund is also recognizing student artists at Southwestern. From February through May, one student artist each month will receive a $25 Michael’s gift card and have their artwork showcased, highlighting the incredible creativity within our Flint community.
