Eisenhower officially exited state support, according to the 2024–25 Michigan School Index released by the Michigan Department of Education—an achievement reached by only 68 schools statewide.
This milestone reflects three years of hard work and collaboration among Principal Thomas, his staff, Eisenhower scholars, and supportive families. Through strong schoolwide systems, intentional instruction, and a commitment to every child’s success, Eisenhower made meaningful academic gains and reduced chronic absenteeism.

For the past 25 years, the Shoes That Fit program has proudly served students in Flint Community Schools through partnerships with local hospitals that purchase and donate new shoes—especially during the holiday season.
This year, over 500 pairs of shoes were delivered to our K–6th grade scholars, helping ensure they are comfortable, confident, and ready to learn.
